Maragogi

Maragogi, in Alagoas, is best known for its crystal-clear sea and reef natural pools—especially the Galés—plus Taocas and Barra Grande. At low tide, the water becomes shallow and transparent, perfect for swimming and spotting marine life.

To get the best experience, timing is everything: plan around the tide table and go on a low-tide day—otherwise the pools won’t look the same. Drier months usually bring better visibility and calmer-looking water, though they can also be busier.
